i got up at 3.30 sunday morning and hung around the harbour until 6 when sam finally woke up. jumped on nboard, got 2nd breakfast and set off for fitxsimmons point, about 3/4 hour south of currie. hauled in fifty pots, which in total only contained about 30 crays (apparently the choppy weather puts hte crays off jumping into pots) and chucked em all back in again. it was awesome. i'd be a fisherman over a farmer anyday.
